Submarines Make A Splash!

On Wednesday, Devahasdin travelled to Sydney to oversee the launch of the Submarine Centenary Program, a planned schedule of exciting events and launches leading up to the celebration of one hundred years of Australian submarines.
The centenary celebrations aim was to educate and inform the public of the long standing history of Australian submarines, the importance of their capability to the nation and their increasing importance in the future.
Industry leaders, Government Officials and media attended the function and were impressed with the program presented.

The Devahasdin team had an amazing holiday break and are enthusiastic about what the year ahead has in store!
We are refreshed and rearing to go! The projects that have already been presented to us, from both existing and new clients, have us ‘chomping at the bit’.
While 2011 was a good year, 2012 is shaping up to be even better!

Stefan Opening

Last Wednesday Devahasdin threw an exclusive VIP opening launch for Stefan Jewellers. The extravagant event was officially opened by The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffedi. Over 150 VIP guests and media were treated to French champagne and beautiful canapés in the exquisite setting of Stefan’s new flagship store. Models in the latest Ruth Tarvydas mingled with guests wearing over $3.5 million dollars worth of stunning Stefan Jewellery. The highlight for us – being able to wear the jewellery on the night and to try on the exquisite necklace made up of rare pink sapphires and diamonds – Oh to have a spare million!
Truffle hunting with the Premier

I had a wonderful day out of the office last week to host the Premier and Minister Redman on a special truffle hunt at the Wine & Truffle Co in gorgeous Manjimup.
Sony and Issy showed off in their usual style by “smelling out” a bag of truffles in record time which we tasted at a special truffle luncheon prepared by wonderful resident Chef Ian. Yum!!!!!!
On a side note, I stayed at the Silkwood Chalets – they are fantastic – very comfortable, very 5 star, with the most sensational outlook. For something different take yourself to Wine & Truffle Co for a truffle hunt and enjoy the Manjimup Pemberton region.
Williams + Hughes 25th Birthday Celebration

Last Friday night we transformed FORM Gallery into a glamorous and sumptuous space to celebrate leading law firm Williams & Hughes 25th year in business. Guests were treated to the finer things in life with an oyster shucker on hand, a gentleman’s lounge with fine cognacs and whiskies poured by knowledgeable barmen and cigars from Perth’s hottest haunt, Devlins. The ladies were not forgotten with make up touch ups throughout the night by a professional make up artist, the squeals of delight could be heard throughout the gallery when she was found! Another fabulous Devahasdin event with fun had by all.
All in a day’s work!
Posted on 19 Jul 2011What a buzz! We are only just landing from foodie heaven after a massive Good Food & Wine Show this year! Dancing with Manu…snacking with Matt Moran…watching Gary compete in a cheezel eating competition with The Couch at MIX 94.5, what a blast we had.
Biggest attendance figures ever this year! As our third year managing the account, we couldn’t have asked for better support from the media of Perth…thanks to all of you, you know who you are!
Onto the next big thing…with a lovely taste left in our mouths….
Dancing with Manu

The Good Food & Wine Show is just around the corner from 15-17 July and we are more whipped up with excitement than meringue!
This is one of our favourite events and the third consecutive year we have represented this client. Each year it is better than before and each year we marvel at how lucky we are for the opportunity to hang out with some of Australia’s best chefs!
Wonder if we can sneak in a dance with Manu? I bet he gets that ALL the time now! We have been flat out arranging interviews for them all and can’t wait to catch up with them again- we always have such fun!
Media can expect a great launch event on Friday 15th July at the Show…while we can’t reveal all the yummy treats we have in store for them, those in the know know what to expect.
So let’s do some name dropping – WA’s Anna Gare, Gary & George (as if they need any more of an intro!), Matt Moran …getting excited yet? We are. Probably see you there at some point over the weekend.

In just over a month the Good Food & Wine Show will be upon us. The girls in the office can’t wait to try out the products from the new exhibitors and visit their old favourites! The lovely guys over at Rebello’s sent us some scrumptious Cheeky Rascal ciders to try today.. not a bad start to a Friday afternoon in the office!

Tuesday 31st May marked a very special milestone in our office. We are so proud to announce that Jenny Coyle has been with Devahasdin now for seven years! What a feat! Starting with us in administration and working her way through the company she has definitely earnt her position and ranking as our Senior Account Manager.

It has been a fabulous year and we have been undertaking some little changes around here.
