Westfield
In the words of our client:
Devahasdin has delivered outstanding media results for Westfield. We have benefited from their strong knowledge of the WA media and what will work in that market. The team are great to work with and we have appreciated their honest and fun approach to PR.
- Jacqueline Scott, Public Relations Manager, Westfield National
Devahasdin worked on the WA Westfield account for approximately 2.5 years.
We were the PR representative for all three centres and predominately worked on publicity placement for a wide range of activities.
We handled all major campaigns, working closely with PR affiliates all over Australia to achieve the best possible outcomes for this retail giant.
Our campaigns included the promotion of celebrities such as Trinny and Susannah, Carson Kresley and Gok Wan.
With a major focus on fashion, we also worked closely to support and promote all in-centre activity and major annual events such as Christmas festivities.
IKEA
Devahasdin was contracted by IKEA Perth to assist with the communication of their ‘no plastic bag’ environmental policy. We devised a competition involving schools across WA whereby they had to create alternative uses for plastic bags.
Our campaign’s activities generated over 25 media placements including television news for a program that had previously not provided ANY media coverage or stakeholder support when first launched.
David Jones
When David Jones purchased Aherns they approached Devahasdin to manage all events and publicity during the rebranding transition and launch in 2001 & 2002. Relaunching a brand into the market that had previously not thrived was difficult enough, but public perception was that DJ’s was killing its beloved Perth icon, Aherns.
The lead up was intensive from a PR campaign perspective. From hard-hat tours of the construction site to school competitions for tile decoration, to news conferences with Megan Gale, we covered every target market. The opening event was huge. It stopped the Perth CBD in its tracks and was attended by all Perth media outlets.
