McDonald's

McDonalds asked us to help launch a new food item – a range of toasts for breakfast customers. The campaign was designed to show a different dimension to a global brand recognised for its burgers.

A wholesome breakfast on the go, giving consumers extra time in bed, was the message we wanted promoted. We packaged a pair of Peter Alexander pyjamas and a red pillow, wrapped in a yellow ribbon for all food and breakfast media. The campaign overall returned almost 14 times the investment for McDonald’s Australia.

Meat & Livestock Australia

In the words of our client:

I have had the pleasure of working with Devahasdin over the last five years and have found Sandra, Jenny and the team to be extremely professional, helpful and fun to work with. MLA has had a decade-long relationship with Devahasdin and I am amazed with the fresh and creative ideas they continue to develop. They have an uncanny ability to push the boundaries and look for new opportunities in line with our national campaigns and PR opportunities. It truly has been a wonderful working relationship; so much so, they are like family to us now.

- Rafael Ramirez

Devahasdin has represented MLA for eleven years conducting both internal public relations (to stakeholders) and external public relations (to consumers).

Our main role is to promote the consumption of red meat. Through research, trade shows, promotions, book launches, ‘cook offs’ and sampling, as well as working in line with a very strong advertising campaign, we have succeeded in reinforcing the message to ‘eat more red meat’.

Some of our more memorable events on behalf of MLA have the dancing butchers in a variety of public arenas and the Sam Kekovich Australia Day appearances. Great fun and highly effective.

Good Food & Wine Show

This amazing event presented numerous PR opportunities such as angles on the six visiting celebrity chefs, wine masterclasses, cheese masterclasses, Decanter Bar, Fifth Leg Restaurant, a general event release and snippet, and over 30 separate exhibitor angles.

In addition to publicity and promotions, our role was also to act as the main point of contact for the show in Perth. Over 30 Perth media attended the launch on the first day of the show.
In total we secured just over $450,000 worth of media exposure for the event. On a regional and suburban level we secured coverage in print, online, radio and TV. Attendance numbers increased dramatically.
